About Lauren

My name is Lauren Hart and I am a Crafter and UK Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator, making my own creations and running workshops mostly in the Lincolnshire area.  My new project is branching out online with blogging and video tutorials where I hope to reach a wider audience and collaborate with fellow creatives all over the world!
As a Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator, my focus is in paper crafting and stamping - which I love for the simplicity, portability and quick end results.  Through this incredible company I have found a passion for sharing my creativity with others by offering face to face workshops, and have found myself included in a supportive community of other Demonstrators worldwide.
I run a monthly craft group (now branching out to twice monthly), seasonal special events and take private bookings for bespoke events.  I can also be found volunteering in my local craft shop, which has been set up to provide a shop front for crafters in our community and to raise funds for charity.
You may also find me buried amongst my stash of fabric and WIPs, as sewing and quilting are two other passions of mine.  I had been sewing quilts long before I knew of Stampin' Up!®, and still love to practice my skills at the sewing machine from time to time.
Colour and pattern seem to be big draws for me, so whether it is filling my head with metres of fabric or packs of card stock and Designer Series Paper, rolls of ribbon or ink pads - I'm in!  One day I would love to combine my love of stamping and sewing and try designing my own textile prints and patterns - watch this space - my mind never stops - I may need more coffee first!
Most importantly, however, I am Mum to my 8-year old son and 6-year old daughter; both of whom seem to have caught the crafty bug and love nothing more than to raid my craft room for my cast offs.  I am married to my lovely husband who, despite wondering when he will be able to claim back some cupboard space from my heaving collection, is very supportive of me and my crafty ventures.
I am very glad that joining Stampin' Up!® and building my own business has enabled me to find a job that I love and feel passionate about, but that I can mould around the most important thing in my life - my family!
If you are a UK resident, I would love to become your Demonstrator, which means you are able to shop with me, join my team and/or attend my events. Explore the tabs for more details and get in contact, I would love to hear from you!
If you live elsewhere around the globe, then whilst you are sadly unable to shop or join Stampin’ Up!® through me personally, you are most welcome to engage with my posts, ask questions, share ideas and collect inspiration. To “share what you love” is the aim of the game here.
If you are a Demonstrator yourself, then welcome also! I would love to hear from you if you have enjoyed this blog. Community is one of the best aspects of this job.
