Christmas Gleaming in a new colour way with Heat Embossing!

Hello everyone!

I am joining you after what has been a very busy week.  Things are starting to open up a bit, and just as we get ready to go out into the world, worries are afoot of future lockdown.  I am not sure whether we are going forward or backward - are you?

I have managed to prepare a video tutorial for you though and I want to share that with you today.

A friend and fellow crafter, who recently joined my team this month, asked me to show her how to heat emboss onto a project, so this card answers that question today.

I also chose this design as an easily replicated design for batch making as I wanted to make ten versions of the card to send out for a team swap.

My inspiration came from another crafter, Lynn Dunn from stamptasticdesigns.com.  She had used this paper and colour combo on a set of cards using the Ornamental Envelopes Bundle, and I loved them.  Pop over to her blog via the link for her blog post.

I wanted to use Lynn's idea for a card using this returning set - Christmas Gleaming, which is uniquely offered as part of a VARIETY BUNDLE including stampset, punches and designer series paper!  Saving you 10% on the individual prices.

In this case I have used a different set of paper - sticking with the colour theme - but you could easily do this with the Brightly Gleaming DSP too.

I love how the White Embossing Powder pops off the Crumb Cake card stock here, and punching those ornaments in patterned paper could not have been simpler!

Check out my YouTube tutorial on how I made this project.  I would love you to share your interpretations of this design, so do comment below and get in touch!
