It's my daughter's 7th birthday in a couple of days and I needed a playful birthday card to suit this high energy and bubbly 7 year old.
Cue the confetti!
The PATTERN PLAY stamp set by Stampin' Up! was just the ticket, as was the coordinating DSP, PLAYING WITH PATTERNS.
I love the PURPLE POSY in this card.
I tried out a new way of layering my DSP, which I think really celebrates the design. The piece is the same width as the card but longer, so it folds over to the back of the card too. A little pop of design on the back of the card and peek a boo space on the front at the bottom, which I also chose to cut on a jaunty diagonal for added interest.
The BALLOON BOUQUET punch is perfect to say "birthday' on any card, and what a great combo with this suite!
I finished it off with a generous bow of Purple Posy from the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS RIBBON COMBO PACK.
