A Rainbow of THANKS

It's easy to get your point across with these fabulous Hand-Lettered Prose Dies.  And what better than a rainbow of colour for this particular sentiment.

I hope you are all staying safe, indoors, and helping to protect and support our wonderful NHS and all the other key workers that are keeping things going through this tough time.

It's hard not to feel a bit guilty for staying in when others are working so hard on our behalf, but really it is the safest thing and the most helpful you can be.

This card at least goes a little way to show our appreciation and support of all they are doing.  I know that the rainbows cropping up all over the country, and indeed the world, are keeping their spirits up just a little.

Kylie Bertucci challenged us as part of her Monthly International Blog Highlights for April, to make a simple thank you card, and I knew exactly who and what I needed to make mine for.  I suspect I will not be alone in this.

If you are visiting via Kylie's blog then thank you so much for stopping by.  If you have come here first, then do head to her blog here and see what else she has in store for this month's highlights.

This card was simply put together by stampin some of the texture images from Label Me Bold using all five of the rainbow colours along a layer of Whisper White card stock, I used: Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape.

I then chose the individual letters that spell THANKS from the die set and ran them through my die cutting machine.  I popped this layer up on the Foam Adhesive Strips, which are that bit higher than our regular Dimensionals.  A small detail is adding the insides of the loops of the 'h', 'a' and 'k' to keep the shape of the letters.

Finally I stamped the THANK YOU sentiment from the Label Me Bold set in Momento three times and fussy cut them out to really get the message across.  You can find all the products I used at the very bottom of this post.

To all the heroes saving lives and to those who are supporting them in doing that,

Part of the fun is to vote for your favourite card.  I would be delighted to receive a vote for mine.
